Timeless Teachings in a Changing World
The AYTI Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist certification is approximately 1200 hours, spread out over two-years, meeting for a three-day weekend approximately once a month.
Upon completion of the two-year curriculum, the graduate will be recognized as an AYT and have the option of completing 50 additional oversight hours through an Ayurvedic Health counselor (AHC) school which will allow them to sit for the AHC exam and upon passing, become certified as an AHC through the National Ayurvedic Medical Association.
Shorter programs of 780 and 775 hours are available for those with prior AHC certification or prior intensive yoga therapy training. There will also be a 300 hour option for individuals certified as AHC and possessing extensive yoga therapy training.
Students will learn with renowned faculty, who bring decades of clinical experience to the curriculum, facilitating your development of professional and ethical practice standards.

Graduates of the Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy program will be competent in the following areas:
* Āyurvedic Yoga therapists educate and empower clients to make personalized changes to diet, lifestyle and daily routine by understanding their constitution/imbalance profile. (Assess Prakŗti, Vikŗti, Agni, Āma, Dhātu, Mala, Srotas, and Saṁprāpti)
* AYTs design, implement and provide instruction to their patients regarding yoga practices and how these practices can be effectively utilized for therapeutic purpose. (Yama, Niyama, Āsana, Prānāyāma, Pratyahāra, Samyama, Mudra, Bandha, Ṣatkriya)
* AYTs collaborate with other healthcare providers utilizing different paths of Yoga like Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga to achieve balance.
* AYTs learn when to refer clients to an Āyurvedic Practitioner (AP) or Āyurvedic Doctor (AD) for additional therapeutic interventions.
